There is something about Mumbai that makes you look at your wardrobe differently.

And when we brought Moon N Lotus to Mumbai, we realised something we hadn't quite seen before.
The same pieces we loved in Goa could take on a completely different life here.
From Goa to Bangalore, and Now Mumbai
Moon N Lotus was born in Goa, where our silhouettes naturally feel relaxed, fluid and easy. Long dresses, flowing kaftans and soft layers naturally fit the slower rhythm of coastal life.
When we went to Bangalore, we discovered another side of the brand. Structured shirts, paired with pants, coord sets and kaftans felt right for a city where work, travel and social plans often blend into one another.
But Mumbai felt different again.
Here, it wasn't just about how a piece looked.
It was about how many ways you could wear it.
One Piece, Your Way
During our Mumbai showcase at Soho House Mumbai on 1st and 2nd August 2026, we began seeing some of our pieces through a completely new lens.
Our High-Low Kimono Wraps, for instance, can be styled with pants for an effortless daytime look, tied to create a more defined silhouette, or layered over a skirt with heels when the day turns into an evening plan.
But one category in particular received an especially warm response in Mumbai: our Dress Tops.
Consciously designed to be worn as either short dresses or long tops, these pieces are an invitation to play with your wardrobe. We don't want every garment to tell you exactly how it should be worn. We want you to bring out the stylist in yourself.
Our Short Hawaiian Dress Tops and Asymmetrical Dress Tops were welcomed with great fanfare in Mumbai, and we loved seeing how differently people imagined wearing them.
Pair them with shorts for an easy daytime look. Wear them with pants for a more polished silhouette. Style them for a casual playdate, brunch, a walk around the city or a day of shopping.
And then, simply take away the shorts.
The same piece transforms into a dress.

Mumbai reminded us of that.
